On October 1, the Border Guard of Quang Tri province said that as of 3:30 p.m. the same day, the authorities had not yet found 6 missing crew members in the sinking of two ships BV-92756-TS and BV-92754-TS.
The search is being carried out with the participation of the Border Guard, Coast Guard, Police and local authorities.

Notably, after a period of calm, the 4 escapees volunteered to join the border ship at sea, contributing to the search for the missing crew members.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 10:30 p.m. on September 28, 11 crew members on the two fishing boats anchored on the northern shore of Cua Gianh returned to the boat to check after the storm.
At 11pm, due to a large whirlwind and strong water flow, the anchor rope broke, the boat could not start the engine, drifted freely and sank. 4 crew members swam to shore safely, 9 people are missing.
By October 1, the rescue team had found 3 bodies, but 6 people had not yet been found.
