On February 28, the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) informed: From February 23 to 27, EVNSPC has energized 10 110kV power grid projects in the southern provinces.
On February 27, EVNSPC coordinated with the construction contractor and related units to energize the testing of the Tan Hong 110kV Station item, part of the Tan Hong 110kV Station Project and the connecting line. This is a project of special significance, supplying electricity to large industrial clusters of loads and supplying electricity to Cambodia. At the same time, improve the reliability of power supply, safety in operation; transfer between Hong Ngu, Tam Nong and Tan Hong 110kV stations, to ensure power supply according to the N-1 criterion; contribute to the locality in economic development, improve the lives of people in rural areas, and ensure social security.
Previously, on February 25, EVNSPC also completed the project "Upgrading and renovating Tam Nong 110kV Transformer Station (T2-63MVA), putting the T2 transformer of Tam Nong 110kV Transformer Station into operation. Also in Dong Thap, on February 23, the project "roads 171 at Tam Nong 110kV Station" under the Tam Nong - An Long 110kV Line project was also successfully energized, put into operation, contributing to improving the reliability of power supply for Thap Muoi, Tam Nong, An Long, Hong Ngu, Truong Xuan 110kV stations in the area.
In Tien Giang, after 45 days of "fast" construction, the "T2-40MVA transformer plant with 63MVA of 110kVA Go Cong substation" (Go Cong city) was energized and officially put into operation on February 24. The project contributes to solving the urgent need for electricity use for the locality; especially ensuring electricity supply for the work of overcoming drought and salinity, pumping fresh water for people during the hot dry season.
In Ben Tre, EVNSPC has closed the technical acceptance trial of 2 projects: "Phu Thuan 110kV transformer station" (Binh Dai district) and An Hiep 110kV transformer station, part of the project "An Hiep 110kV transformer station and the 110kV line from 220kV Ben Tre - 110kV An Hiep" (Chau Thanh district).
In Binh Duong province, 4 projects including: An Lap 110kV transformer station and connecting line, Thanh An 110kV transformer station, Cau Xanh 110kV transformer station and connecting line, 110kV Vsip2-MR2 transformer station (Vinh Loi substation) have also closed technical acceptance dien.
According to EVNSPC, in 2025, in order to achieve practical results to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and towards the Party Congresses at all levels, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Construction and Development of EVNSPC, the Corporation launched a 9-day sprint emulation movement to strive to complete the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects before April 30, 2025. To achieve this goal, EVNSPC faces many challenges in implementing legal procedures to implement investment in construction works, site clearance, specific construction terrain for canals, rivers, etc., causing difficulties in transporting materials and equipment, etc.
As soon as the Tet holiday ends, EVNSPC leaders and the construction investment forces throughout the Corporation continue to work with the spirit of "no days off". The collective of leaders is regularly present directly at the construction site to inspect, urge progress, and have specific instructions to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for each power project and project in the localities. Typically, on weekends (17-18 and 22 - 23), EVNSPC Chairman Le Van Trang inspected the progress and directed the removal of difficulties for projects in Ca Mau, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.
