On February 4, Nghe An Provincial Police announced the decisions to retire and await retirement benefits for Colonel Tran Thang Long (Head of Logistics Department), Colonel Ho Minh Thang (Head of the Party Committee Inspection Commission), Colonel Pham Hoai Nam (Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency), Colonel Duong Dinh Van (Head of Internal Political Security Department) and Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau (Head of Ky Son District Police).
In particular, Colonel Pham Hoai Nam has 2 more years of work before reaching retirement age according to regulations.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police acknowledged the voluntary early retirement of 5 department heads and district police chiefs to create favorable conditions for the provincial police to carry out the work of arranging and assigning officers.
This is being done when there is a policy of the Ministry of Public Security on restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, as well as preparing to build a personnel project for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
The department heads and district police chiefs who retired this time were all leaders and commanders who had worked in many different fields, always completed their tasks excellently and received many noble awards.
Also at the ceremony, leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police Department handed over decisions to assign new units to replace retired department heads and district police chiefs.
