The project to invest in the construction of Ring Road 2.5 Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section in Khuong Dinh ward (Hanoi) has a length of 1.52km, a cross-section scale of 50m, and a total investment of 2,432 billion VND.
To implement the project, Khuong Dinh ward must recover 60,902m2 of land from 736 cases (16 organizations and 720 households and individuals).
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee said that as of May 27, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee has completed the project site clearance work in accordance with the direction of the City Party Committee, City People's Committee and Ward Party Committee; completed the construction, appraisal, public disclosure, appraisal, and approval of compensation, support, and resettlement plans for cases within the scope of land recovery; organized the payment of compensation and support money, arranged resettlement for demolition of works and handed over the site to the construction unit according to the set schedule.
Regarding the demolition of the project, based on the cases of receiving compensation, support and signing minutes of site handover, the Ward People's Committee organized the demolition of the project in accordance with regulations; ensuring labor safety, security and order and environmental sanitation during the implementation process.
As of May 27, the Ward People's Committee has organized the demolition of 586 works, and the remaining 150 cases of cutting are continuing to carry out procedures according to regulations.
The demolition work is implemented in a rolling manner, where the site is handed over, demolition is organized to serve the project construction; at the same time, organize the transportation of construction waste, ensuring a clean site before handing it over to the construction unit.

Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee said that in the past time, the construction unit has focused manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment to deploy construction in a rolling manner, organizing construction immediately as soon as there is land available, without waiting for the entire route to be handed over for construction.
The contractor is deploying construction of about 500m at the end of the route and some locations have been handed over land, the progress is ensured according to the requirements of the Ward People's Committee.

The workload is still very large, Secretary of the Party Committee of Khuong Dinh ward hopes that households living along the Ring Road 2.5 project will continue to coordinate, support, and help the government and construction unit to complete the project on schedule.
