    Traffic accidents in Quang Nam decreased significantly in all three criteria during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday (from December 26 to the 3rd day of the lunar calendar).

    According to statistics from Quang Nam Provincial Police, during the 7-day Tet holiday (from December 26 to the 3rd day of the lunar calendar), traffic accidents in the area decreased significantly in all 3 criteria.

    There were 7 traffic collisions, 8 people were slightly injured (no deaths). Compared to the same period of 7 days of the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, traffic accidents decreased by 3 cases (down 30%), 5 deaths (down 100%), and 1 injury (down 11.11%).

    With the motto "no restricted areas, no exceptions", "no days off", the Traffic Police force of Quang Nam Provincial Police deployed 321 patrols with 1,314 officers and soldiers participating.

    Thereby, 368 violations were detected and recorded, mainly violations of alcohol concentration and speed, 11 driving licenses were revoked, 133 vehicles were temporarily detained, and an estimated fine of 1.5 billion VND was imposed.
