Fishing boat BD 97258 TS has 8 workers, owned and captained by Mr. Huynh Van Son (born in 1981, residing in Hoai Nhon Dong ward). Fishing vessels fishing for ocean tuna caught and caught, departed from the Ca Na Border Control Station (Khanh Hoa) on September 12, operating in the sea area 147 nautical miles southeast of Quy Nhon.
By 20:13 on September 27, the ship lost connection signal. Unable to contact the crew member, the family reported to the authorities.
Also in the early morning of September 29, the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard received information from the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region IV about another fishing boat of the province in distress in Nam Yet island cluster, Truong Sa archipelago.
That is the BD 96732 TS ship owned and captained by Mr. Ngo Troi (born in 1975, residing in Hoai Nhon Dong ward), with 11 crew members on board. Ship operating a net, leaving port on September 8 at Ba Ngoi Border Control Station (Khanh Hoa). During operation, the ship ran aground in the underground rock area.
As of this morning, boat BD 96732 TS was still stranded but had been contacted by a nearby fishing boat to assist in towing. It is expected that on the night of September 29, the ship will be taken off the land. Currently, the health of the 11 crew members is stable.
Sending a border boat to Cu Lao Cham Island to rescue 2 people in critical condition
According to the People's Committee of Tan Hiep commune (Cu Lao Cham), at 8:00 a.m. on September 29, the Military - Civil Medicine Station on the island requested support to transfer the two patients to shore, Ms. Nguyen Thi Q (born in 1944), suspected of having cerebral aneurysm and Mr. Tran Van Th (born in 1970, in Bai Ong village), suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding.
Upon receiving the news, the Da Nang Border Guard immediately dispatched the BP 08.1501 boat and 5 officers and soldiers of the 2nd Border Guard Squadron - Son Tra to depart to support the rescue.

At noon of the same day, the rescue forces approached the island, together with Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station, coordinated with the island's health workers to closely monitor the signal, fix the transmission line, and prevent shock before moving.
