On the evening of May 21, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said it was coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate the cause of the traffic accident that occurred on the extended Le Thanh Tong route (Dong Thanh ward, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province).
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, N.T.Y.N (born in 2008) was driving a motorbike with license plate 74AG-011.xx, carrying behind him N.T.K.N (born in 2013), also residing in Cam Vu 3 village (Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province) traveling in the direction of National Highway 9 - the North bypass road when he suddenly had an accident.
The accident caused N.T.Y.N to die on the spot, while N.T.K.N was seriously injured and is being treated at the hospital.
It is known that the two victims are cousins.
Initial information from local people, at the time of the incident, it was raining heavily, with strong winds, and a thunderstorm swept upward, obstructing the driver's vision, leading to a traffic accident.
