On the evening of May 5, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police confirmed that at around 4:00 p.m. on May 5, at the intersection between DT 574 and National Highway 9D (in An Duc 3 quarter, Cua Tung town, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province), an accident occurred between a car and a motorbike.
At that time, Mr. D.V.L (born in 1993, residing in Nam Hung village, Trung Nam commune, Vinh Linh district) was driving a car with license plate 74C-084.xx traveling from Kim Thach commune to Cua Viet. When arriving at the above location, the car collided with a motorbike with license plate 74L1-152.xx driven by Mr. L.V.H (born in 1996, residing in Thanh Dien Hamlet, Ly Van Lam Ward, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province), carrying Ms. B.T.H.Y (born in 1993, residing in Dong Soi Village, Kim Thach Commune, Vinh Linh District).
At the time of the accident, the motorbike was traveling from Hien Thanh commune to Cua Tung beach.
The strong collision caused Ms. B.T.H.Y to die on the spot, Mr. L.V.H to be injured, and the motorbike to be severely damaged.
The cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
