In recent times, many key projects being implemented in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as component project 3 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau highway, Phuoc An bridge project, Thuy Van park have been urgently constructed, contributing to ensuring progress according to the set plan.

At the Phuoc An bridge project connecting Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Dong Nai, two packages No. 38 (total investment of VND 965.12 billion) and No. 39 (total investment of VND 1,581 billion) are still being constructed day and night despite exceeding the set schedule.

As for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 3 project, the construction package has a total investment of VND 1,944 billion, with an implementation period from 2022 to 2026. On the 19.5km length of the entire route, many construction phases are being implemented, reaching more than 67% of the plan.

The project to renovate Thuy Van Street (Bai Sau area, Vung Tau City) with a total investment of more than 1,094 billion VND is also speeding up construction progress.

All three projects are targeted to be completed early in 2025. For example, package 38 of the Phuoc An bridge project is targeted to complete 100% of the progress in 2025; the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway component 3 project is targeted to be technically opened to traffic before April 30; the Thuy Van road improvement project is also targeted to be completed before April 30.

In addition, many other key local transport and construction projects are also being accelerated, with the goal of completion in 2025, to celebrate the country's major holidays.

Urgent construction to finish early

The Cai Mep - Thi Vai Regional Traffic Project Management Board said that to ensure construction progress, 2 packages at the Phuoc An Bridge project mobilized more than 300 workers and hundreds of vehicles, working hard day and night.

At the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 3 project, contractors mobilized about 415 workers and 225 pieces of equipment and vehicles to deploy 15 construction teams. The construction units have committed to ensuring that the project will be technically opened to traffic before April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Sy - Commander of Package No. 12 of the Thuy Van Road Renovation Project - said that in the coming time, the number of workers at the construction site will double to ensure the project is completed soon.

According to Mr. Sy, the construction is being accelerated, and will be even faster after doubling the number of workers, to ensure the project is completed before April 30, within the 180-day construction period as planned.
