The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Official Letter No. 1195 to the provincial departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities.
The document clearly stated: Implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025; Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the implementation of research and proposal to continue reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province directed as follows:
Request the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review and temporarily suspend the implementation of new investment projects and works, renovation, repair and upgrading of working headquarters of district and commune-level administrative agencies and units until new instructions are issued; ensure thrift practice and combat waste.
Assign the Department of Construction, according to its functions and tasks, to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance, the Department of Home Affairs and related units to monitor, inspect and supervise agencies, units and localities.
Advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee on timely and effective management contents.
Previously, many provinces and cities such as Da Nang, Gia Lai, Quang Nam, Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Nghe An, Bac Ninh have also directed the temporary suspension of investment projects to build and upgrade district and commune-level headquarters in the process of restructuring and organizing the apparatus.
