On the afternoon of March 30, the Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1 organized the commencement of package No. 9 construction of the Km3+380-K7+400 section of the provincial road 293 upgrade and expansion project, the section from Bac Giang ward to the branch line to Vinh Nghiem pagoda.
The project construction site is located in the wards: Tan Tien, Tan An.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2027.
According to the reporter's investigation, the project to upgrade and expand provincial road 293, the section from Bac Giang ward to the branch line to Vinh Nghiem pagoda, was approved by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province on October 30, 2025.
According to the approved decision, the project construction location is at: Tan Tien Ward, Tan An Ward, Bac Lung commune, Bac Ninh province. The investor is the Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee. The investor is Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1.
The length of the road is about 8.92km; the road cross-section is 58.5m; the design speed is 80km/h; the starting point is Km3+380 at the end of Van Son bridge in Tan Tien ward; the ending point is Km13+300 intersection with the branch road to Vinh Nghiem pagoda in Bac Lung commune (excluding the section from Km7+400 to Km8+400).
The total construction investment of the project is nearly 1,800 billion VND. Of which, compensation and resettlement costs are more than 608 billion VND, construction costs are more than 870 billion VND and other costs include: equipment costs, project management costs...
Regarding the project implementation progress, the investment preparation time is 2025; the project implementation time is from 2025-2028.
The investment in upgrading and expanding the road aims to gradually complete traffic infrastructure according to the plan; strengthen regional and regional traffic connections; improve conditions, enhance the exploitation capacity of the road; reduce congestion, limit traffic accidents; contribute to expanding urban space, promoting socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security. At the same time, promote the investment efficiency of a number of projects that have been and are being invested in the area.
