Bac Ninh Department of Health has just issued a plan on inspecting and supervising the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes in the province in 2026, in order to ensure people's health safety and improve management efficiency in the water supply sector.
According to the plan, inspection and supervision work is being implemented with the aim of strengthening the management, exploitation and control of clean water quality used for domestic purposes by water supply units.
At the same time, ensuring regular and effective implementation according to local technical regulations (QCĐP 01:2021/BN).
In which, striving for 100% of water supply units to implement water quality internal inspection; 100% of officials working in supervision and testing to be trained and educated; step by step to fully implement 54 water quality testing parameters at the Provincial Center for Disease Control.
The Department of Health requests Bac Ninh province to request units to focus on synchronously implementing solutions to improve management capacity and expertise, such as: reviewing and decentralizing management of water supply units; completing the database; promoting the application of information technology in supervision; organizing training and professional training for health officials and personnel operating the water supply system.
At the same time, strengthen periodic and unscheduled inspection and supervision, promptly detect and rectify existing problems and limitations, and ensure clean water quality according to regulations.
In addition, the Bac Ninh Provincial Center for Disease Control is assigned to preside over the implementation of external inspection, testing, and water quality monitoring for water supply units in the area; coordinate professional guidance, organize training and summarize, and report results according to regulations.
The Health Centers of industrial parks and Commune and Ward Health Stations are responsible for deploying inspection and supervision according to decentralization, especially for water supply units with small capacity and arising situations such as environmental incidents or people's reflections.
For water supply units, the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Health requests strict implementation of regulations on ensuring clean water quality; strengthen investment and maintenance of equipment; strictly control production processes, raw material sources and declare conformity according to regulations; and at the same time be responsible before the law for the quality of water supplied to people.
