Since 2007, many households have participated in buying land for resettlement and paid more than 40 million VND to buy land plots. Then in 2011, they paid an additional nearly 80 million VND for infrastructure. The infrastructure is basically finished, but people are still not allocated land for construction...
According to information that people self-discovery, in 2011, Van An ward auctioned 46 plots of land, but the proceeds were not used for the project. The ward chairman at that time was arrested in connection with another incident, causing the project to stall and no agency to come forward to resolve it.
According to the representative of Van An Ward People's Committee, many documents related to the project have been lost. This agency also sent people to collect information from sources but could not find it, especially the list of households that Yen Phong district had approved at that time to allocate land for population expansion.
However, the tax authority still retains the names of households that have paid the full land use fee and registration fee. There is a list of households, but there is no stamp of the approved agency.
