On February 25, information from the Do Luong District Party Committee (Nghe An) confirmed that the construction of the District Party Committee - People's Bloc office building project with an investment value of more than 70 billion VND had been temporarily suspended.
Implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025, the Do Luong District Party Committee decided to temporarily suspend the construction of the workhouse of the District Party Committee - People's Bloc.
Previously, in order to upgrade and develop infrastructure, with the goal of building a central urban area that meets type IV standards and aiming to become a town before 2030, the District Party Committee - People's Bloc, Do Luong District Office Project was approved by the People's Council of Do Luong District for investment in construction in Resolution No. 02/NQ-HDND dated April 4, 2022. After being widely bid, on January 14, 2025, Do Luong District Party Committee approved the winning bid results of Thinh Hung Company Limited (located in Vinh City, Nghe An Province) (package No. 06, including construction costs and construction equipment), with a value of more than 72.432 billion VND.
