Accordingly, on May 14, the Department of Finance sent a document to units requesting a review of mechanisms and policies issued by the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee;
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province directed the units that have reported to continue reviewing and supplementing the following contents:
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Health service; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Provincial Police: The report states the spending level of each spending content as prescribed, adding enough subjects of each content to spend according to the quantity of both Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces; The demand for an additional one year of Bac Giang province if the policy of Bac Ninh province is applied.
Department of Agriculture and Environment shall assume the prime responsibility for reviewing the contents according to the form related to Resolution No. 123/2014/NQ-HDND17 dated April 24, 2017 of the Provincial People's Council and Decision No. 287/2014/QD-UBND dated June 26, 2014 of the Provincial People's Committee; Coordinate with the Department of Health and the Department of Home Affairs to review the subjects managed by the industry in accordance with Resolution No. 14/2021/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2021, Resolution No. 06/2022/NQ-HDND dated June 15, 2022 and Resolution No. 10/2022/NQ-HDND dated August 26, 2022, Resolution No. 06/2024/NQ-HDND dated June 28, 2024 of poor households, poor households.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, after collecting opinions and receiving high consensus and agreement from the people, the Project to reorganize Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province to establish Bac Ninh province is being submitted to the Government.
According to the Project, the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang will merge and have a new name, Bac Ninh province, the administrative center will be located in the current Bac Giang city. The new Bac Ninh province will have a total of 99 communes and wards; population of 3,619,433 people.
At the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee on May 14, Chairman of Bac Ninh People's Committee requested from now until June 15, departments, branches and localities must determine this is the peak time for the whole political system to put the total force to carry out the remaining tasks before the end of the district -level government activities, transferred to the 2 -level government operating model.
At the same time, carefully and thoroughly prepare, review tasks and conditions to ensure the smooth operation of the government system of the new Bac Ninh province, ensuring that there are no gaps in handling procedures to serve people and businesses.
