Accordingly, the project aims to overcome and prevent riverbank erosion, ensure safety of the left Cau dike, residential areas and historical relics in the area; and effectively serve disaster prevention and control, contributing to stabilizing life and local socio-economic development.
The project is invested by Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1, belonging to group C, grade III works.
The project includes the following items: Construction of a riverbank protection embankment with a rubble structure reinforcing the embankment base, embankment slope with precast concrete panels in reinforced concrete girders, embankment top is arranged with safety railings, design solutions to ensure stable slope, drainage, and foundation reinforcement according to current technical standards.
The total investment of the project is more than 71 billion VND from the provincial budget; the implementation time is until December 31, 2026, especially the main items must be completed before May 31, 2026 to be in time for disaster prevention and control work in 2026.
Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to coordinate with Hop Thinh Commune People's Committee to develop and organize the implementation of compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with the law.
Coordinate with relevant units to organize construction investment and project management in accordance with current legal regulations, ensuring quality, efficiency and saving construction investment costs.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee also approved the emergency construction project of Duc Mai Pumping Station, My Thai commune with a total investment of 500 billion VND and the emergency construction project of Cam Bao Pumping Station at position K20+300 left Cau dike (Xuan Cam commune), with a total investment of about 450 billion VND, both from the provincial budget.
