Helping temporarily detained and imprisoned people access full election information
For nearly a month now, prison guards of Detention Center No. 2, Quang Tri Provincial Police have regularly visited each cell to disseminate information about the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The list of candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels is publicly posted in the common living area of the detention center. Through this, temporarily detained and temporarily imprisoned people have the opportunity to learn more about each candidate before exercising their right to choose.
In addition to public posting, the unit also organizes direct propaganda in each cell. The content of propaganda focuses on the rights and obligations of voters, the meaning of the election as well as the voting process according to regulations.

Along with that, the internal loudspeaker system of the detention center also regularly broadcasts content related to the rights and obligations of voters, voting procedures and points to note on election day. Thanks to this, detainees and inmates grasp more complete and clear information about the election.
Ensuring citizen rights for voters in specially managed areas
Along with propaganda work, Detention Center No. 2 focuses on reviewing and updating voter lists in accordance with regulations. Due to the nature of management subjects that frequently fluctuate, the unit proactively coordinates with local Election Commissions to promptly adjust information.
Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Hoang - Deputy Head of the Detention Center Management Team, Detention Center No. 2 - said that the unit has implemented many forms of propaganda, and at the same time carefully reviewed the number of voters who are temporarily detained and temporarily imprisoned to ensure that cases eligible to participate in the election are not missed.
Currently, Detention Center No. 2 has nearly 300 people being temporarily detained and temporarily detained who are eligible to exercise voting rights. According to regulations, 24 hours before the election day, the unit will finalize the voter list to receive and issue voter cards to the right subjects.

On the official election day, in addition to the main ballot box located at the Provincial Police headquarters, a secondary ballot box will be brought to the detention center. This ballot box will be moved to each cell for voters under special management to directly vote, exercising their citizen rights and obligations.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Trung Dung - Deputy Inspector of Detention Center No. 2, Quang Tri Provincial Police - said that so far, the unit has basically completed the preparation stages, from propaganda work, reviewing voter lists to ensuring facilities and security and order conditions for the election day.

With careful and thorough preparation, the voting rights of those under special management are still guaranteed in accordance with the law.
