On the afternoon of January 23, information from Yen Bai Ward People's Committee, at about 5 am on the same day, at house number 167, Tran Phu street, Dong Tam 10 residential group, Yen Bai ward, people discovered a baby about 2 months old abandoned.
Immediately upon receiving the information, the authorities sent people to the scene and took the baby to the health station in the old Dong Tam ward for care.
Here, it was determined that the baby was about 2 months old, weighing 2.5kg, female. At the time of discovery, the baby was wrapped in a blanket, next to it was a white nylon bag containing newborn clothes, health and normal breathing.

Currently, the baby is receiving medical care and health monitoring at Yen Bai Ward Health Station (old Dong Tam Health Station).
Yen Bai Ward People's Committee announced the search for the father, mother or relative of the above-mentioned baby girl.
Within 7 days from the date of issuance of the notice, if parents or relatives of the child come to pick them up, they are requested to bring personal papers and documents proving the relationship for competent authorities to consider and resolve according to regulations.
Previously, an article appeared on social networks with images of a newborn baby being carried by a woman wearing a mask on Tran Phu street, Yen Bai ward, Lao Cai province.
The time of the incident was about 5 am on the same day, the outdoor temperature was about 10 degrees Celsius.
The poster said that the woman then left the baby lying on the sidewalk and left.
