At 4:36 am on January 19, Viet Hoa Ward Police received a report about the discovery of a newborn baby abandoned in the Van street area, Viet Hoa ward. Initial verification revealed that the baby was found lying in a blue plastic lane, placed next to the sidewalk of Van street (near Viet Hoa Elementary School).
The baby was wrapped in a pink blanket, with red streaks on the forehead. In the plastic sheet, there were some personal items for newborns and a piece of paper with content showing that the baby's relatives were in difficult circumstances and could not be raised. Initial verification revealed that the abandoned baby was a baby girl, born on January 13, 2026, weighing 3.1 kg (including clothes, blankets). Baby's health was stable.
