Being reflected on Facebook, a restaurant in Lang Son was fined 4 million VND

Lang Son - A food business establishment in Ky Lua ward has just been fined.

According to information from Ky Lua Ward People's Committee, on March 11, 2026, the locality received a complaint from a Facebook account with the nickname M.T. D, along with images showing that the processing area at a banh mi shop in the ward is not hygienic, posing a potential risk of food safety.

Immediately after receiving the information, on the afternoon of March 12, the leaders of the Ward People's Committee directed the inter-sectoral inspection team to urgently inspect and verify at the reflected facility.

Through actual inspection, functional forces identified the reflected establishment as business household N.V.T, a grilled food restaurant at No. 45 Minh Khai street.

The inspection team made a record of administrative violations for the act of allowing wastewater drainage sewers in the kitchen processing area to be stagnant, not covered, causing environmental unsanitary conditions in the food processing area.

For the above violation, the establishment was administratively fined 4 million VND according to regulations.

Ky Lua Ward People's Committee also recommends that food service business establishments in the area strictly comply with food safety and hygiene regulations; ensure that the processing and business area is clean and safe, serving people and tourists during the festival season.
