Ms. Le Thi Hoa (name of the character requested for change, service staff at My Khe coastal store, Da Nang) - informed that when hearing the news that storm No. 5 was about to make landfall, the store also proactively reduced tables and chairs, put away easily damaged items such as cotton mattresses, umbrellas, decor items to avoid damage.

Many coastal businesses in Da Nang said that on the morning of August 25, in the coastal area of Da Nang, the waves began to rise, continuously hitting the shore.
Storm No. 5 is about to make landfall, along Vo Nguyen Giap Street, a series of shops, restaurants, and service businesses have proactively moved their belongings, urgently moving tables, chairs, and perishable items to a safe place.
"Since early this morning, we have started cleaning up, bringing all our belongings inside and covered it with tarpaulins. Every time the storm comes, it is a hard time, but businesses like us are getting used to it, just hoping the storm will pass quickly so that people and tourists can feel secure" - a coastal business household My Khe said.

According to the latest storm information from the Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 10:00 a.m. on August 25, the center of storm No. 5 was at about 18.4 degrees North latitude; 106.8 degrees East longitude, about 120km East Southeast of Nghe An, about 100km East Southeast of Ha Tinh, about 100km East, about 130km East Northeast of Bac Quang Tri.
The strongest wind is level 13-14 (134-166 km/h), gusting to level 16. It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, at a speed of about 15 km/h. With the above distance, the storm will make landfall in about 5 hours, the area expected to be Nam An bordering Ha Tinh.

Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 143/CD-TTg on focusing on emergency response to storm No. 5 (Kajiki), Da Nang City has issued a sea ban, urgently organizing storm and flood prevention.
In order to ensure the safety of people and tourists, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches has recently announced the temporary suspension of Son Tra Peninsula tours.

According to the Management Board, due to the impact of storm No. 5 (storm Kajiki), Da Nang City will have showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate rain, heavy rain; thunderstorms will be concentrated in August 24-25, 2025.
In order to ensure the safety of people and tourists, the Management Board announced a temporary suspension of sightseeing on Son Tra peninsula from 15:00 on August 24, 2025 until further notice.
