Border guards rescue cows from flooded area

Border guards in Quang Binh used boats to rescue a herd of eight cows that were at risk of dying from flooding.

On September 21, Ca Xeng Border Guard Station (Quang Binh Border Guard Command) said that in the past two days, heavy rain caused deep flooding, and border guards helped people move cows to higher ground to avoid damage.

Previously, the impact of storm No. 4, heavy rain lasting for many hours caused many areas in the mountainous district of Minh Hoa to be deeply flooded. Especially in Thuong Hoa commune, many areas were deeply flooded, causing isolation and threatening the livestock that people were grazing in the flooded area.

Seeing his herd of 8 cows stuck in the Hung Trau area (Thuong Hoa commune), fearing that they would die if the water continued to flood, Mr. Dinh Minh Tho (residing in Tien Hoa village) reported to Ca Xeng Border Guard Station for help.

Upon receiving the news, border guards deployed forces and equipment to help people rescue property and avoid major damage.

Border guards, with the support of local people, used motorboats to approach the flooded area, using their experience to safely rescue the herd of cows and bring them to higher ground.
