* On September 20, the Quang Binh Border Guard said that the circulation after storm No. 4 caused a cargo ship anchored at the Gianh River mouth to be swept away.
Accordingly, heavy rains in recent days caused the cargo ship Nam Anh 69, belonging to Nam Anh Construction and Trading Services Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Vinh city, Nghe An province, to drift out to the river mouth, with 6 crew members on board.
The initial cause was determined to be that while the Nam Anh 69 ship was anchored, an oyster cage drifted in and floated the anchor hook, causing the ship to drift.
Gianh Port Border Guard Station has notified relevant agencies and requested some ships anchored in the area to assist.
It is expected that on the afternoon of September 20, when the Gianh River water level rises, the forces will deploy a plan to support the ship to the anchorage position.
