Through the intimate space of "morning coffee", city leaders and representatives of departments and offices listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the people and businesses. Thereby, promptly removing obstacles so that everything goes smoothly, without congestion, causing public outrage.

At the meetings, businesses discussed many issues related to business operations, workers' jobs, and work between people and businesses and state agencies.

Many opinions were discussed with the leaders such as difficulties related to paying social insurance for workers; recommendations on corporate tax, borrowing capital from banks for reproduction, environmental procedures for production and business...

At the coffee sessions, city leaders and relevant departments and offices responded to comments and recommendations within the local authority. For issues beyond their authority, city leaders will synthesize and make recommendations to departments, branches and the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling.

Morning coffee connects and is closer to the people

In Thu Dau Mot city, the model of "morning coffee exchange with the people" was first organized at the park of neighborhood 5, Phu My ward around December 2022.

The model was implemented with the desire to be close to the people, to listen to their voices. The model is a new initiative to promptly resolve problems and problems that cause public outrage. This model also creates a space for direct meetings and exchanges between city leaders, ward leaders and people, to listen to and promptly resolve people's recommendations and reflections, and at the same time build a close, trusting relationship between ward leaders and people.

After a period of effective operation, the Standing Committee of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee directed the expansion of the model of "morning coffee exchange with people" to 100% of neighborhoods in Phu My ward.

According to the assessment of the Standing Committee of the Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee, over the implementation period, the model has created a high consensus among cadres, party members and people in the area. The model of "morning coffee exchange with the people" has been expanded to wards and even the city level of Thu Dau Mot, bringing many positive results, some wards have implemented very well.

In Tuong Binh Hiep ward, the "morning coffee exchange with the people" model of the ward Party Committee is considered a breakthrough model in building a close relationship between the government and the people.
