On February 25, the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Nang City organized a conference to assign tasks to deploy forces to patrol, control, detect and handle unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other aircraft in the area. Colonel Tran Quang Chanh, Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of the City Military Command, chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates were thoroughly informed about the operating situation of unmanned aerial vehicles recently; analyzed the risks affecting aviation security and safety, national defense - security in the city. On that basis, the City Military Command assigned specific tasks to each agency and unit in organizing forces, vehicles and handling plans when detecting illegal flying targets.
According to the plan, the City Military Command maintains a daily patrol and control team; organizes regular observation at the Observation Station of the City Military Command, ensuring 24/24 hour duty, ready to mobilize forces to handle promptly when situations arise.
Military Command of Sub-region 1 - Cam Le, Sub-region 5 - Dien Ban and Military Commands of wards and communes in the area established specialized patrol and control teams; equipped with UAV suppression guns, closely coordinated with the Police and functional forces in detecting, preventing, and handling violations. Units strictly implement the regime of reporting the situation daily to the City Military Command.


Patrol work focuses on entertainment venues, crowded event venues, scenic spots, key areas for national defense - security and no-fly zones, restricted flights. At the same time, strengthen widespread propaganda of the People's Air Defense Law and regulations related to the management and use of unmanned aerial vehicles; raise awareness and law compliance awareness of organizations and individuals.
