In the face of the complicated developments of the storm, the unit organized mobile working groups to each key area to propagate, guide and mobilize people to prevent natural disasters.
Officers and soldiers directly went to each household living in areas at risk of landslides, low-lying areas, and unsafe warning areas to guide the evacuation to storm shelters according to local plans. On the coastal residential route, the unit promoted 133 households to proactively tie up their houses and protect their property. At the same time, they are encouraging people to evacuate in an area at risk of high tides and two areas at high risk of landslides.
On the water surface, inspection teams and propaganda to approach boats, fishing vessels and aquaculture systems with 604 rafts, 38,500 cages and 1,120 workers. The unit requested fishermen to quickly bring their boats to a safe anchorage area and strictly comply with the ban on the sea to ensure life and property, limiting damage when the storm makes landfall.
Currently, working groups of the Vung Ro Port Border Guard Station maintain forces and means and are always ready to handle all situations, determined not to let people be surprised by the developments of storm No. 15.
