On the morning of September 10, Colonel Tran Nguyen Ky - Deputy Commander of the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command and the working delegation visited, encouraged and supported families whose relatives died due to floods and landslides in Si Lo Lau commune, Phong Tho district.
At Mr. Tan Chin Nien's family, the delegation sympathized with the difficulties and losses that the family had just experienced. The Border Guard Command supported 5 million VND in cash and gifts in kind for his family.
At the same time, he directed Si Lo Lau Border Guard Station to mobilize dozens of officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and forces to support families in arranging funerals for deceased victims and overcoming incidents after natural disasters so that families can soon stabilize their lives.
Previously, to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Sin Suoi Ho, Si Lo Lau, Vang Ma Chai, and Huoi Luong Border Guard Stations to send 32 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and people to evacuate 2 households and 9 people in Sin Suoi Ho and Si Lo Lau communes to a safe place.
