According to the report of the road management agency, every year, the maintenance unit regularly clears the bushes of trees, clears hidden obstacles at the foot of the embankment to ensure visibility and safety for vehicles on the route.
It is necessary to cut down large trees on the embankment of the national highway as proposed by voters.
"However, most of the large trees and objects (orphans) on the slope of the positive slope, along national highways in mountainous areas, are in natural forests, protective forests or cultural and geological heritages recognized by world organizations. Therefore, the relocation of obstacles (cutting down trees, relocating piers) must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law on the Law on Forest Protection and Development, on resources, environment...", the Ministry of Transport emphasized.
The Ministry of Transport added that in the process of managing and exploiting national highways, maintenance agencies and units regularly coordinate closely with forest management agencies when relocating obstacles to ensure compliance with regulations.
To ensure legal regulations on the management, exploitation, maintenance and protection of road traffic infrastructure, the Ministry of Transport recommends that voters give their opinions to the People's Committee of Bac Kan province so that the province can give opinions to ministries, branches and direct relevant agencies and units to coordinate in the smooth relocation of obstacles on the embankment, promptly propagate and disseminate legal education in forest protection, plant protection, avoid the risk of landslides, and ensure safety at the embankment locations.
