On November 10, the Ministry of Justice announced that, implementing the Ministry of Justice's 2024 inspection plan, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Justice issued Inspection Decision No. 53/QD-TTR on specialized inspection in the field of criminal records in Hanoi. The Inspection Team has announced the Inspection Decision according to regulations.
The decision announcement ceremony was attended by representatives of the Hanoi People's Committee, leaders of the Hanoi Police, the Hanoi Department of Justice, representatives of the People's Court, the People's Procuracy, the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, officials of the Department of Justice and members of the Inspection Delegation.
On behalf of the Inspection Team, Ms. Ta Thi Tai - Head of the Team announced the full text of the Inspection Decision, and clearly stated the purpose, requirements, content, and duration of the inspection; the tasks and powers of the Inspection Team; the rights and responsibilities of the inspected subjects; and the expected work plan of the Inspection Team.
The representative of the Hanoi Department of Justice reported on the work of issuing criminal records as requested by the Inspection Team.
Through specialized inspections in the field of criminal records, it will contribute to correctly assessing the current situation of organization and management of databases; providing, receiving, updating, and processing criminal record information; establishing criminal records; and issuing criminal record certificates in Hanoi.
Thereby, promptly detect, correct, learn from shortcomings, errors, and problems and handle violations, if any.
The inspection process will receive and reflect recommendations from individuals and organizations; detect loopholes and inadequacies in the law in order to take measures to remove obstacles, support in state management and in the issuance of criminal records.
