Sending a question to the Ministry of Health, reader T.T.N.Q said: "I have a university degree in biofood Technology, a certificate of agricultural testing (dated in 2012), and a certificate of training according to the standards of medical technical professional titles.
I work at a medical center, professional title of Grade III Engineer, code V.05.02.07. May I ask, according to Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BYT, am I eligible to change to the title of Grade III Medical Technician, code V. 8:0007.18? ".
Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:
The training level standard for the title of Medical Technician grade III stipulates: "Having a university degree in the medical engineering group, a university degree in tooth decoration, university degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology or higher".
In case the civil servant has a university degree: Food and Biotechnology Engineer does not meet the training standards of the title of Medical Technician Grade III, so does not meet the standards and conditions for consideration of transfer to the professional title of Medical Technician Grade III.
