On the afternoon of March 3, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Land Registration Office, Thach Ha District Branch - said that after the Central Government directed "developing a project to merge some provincial-level administrative units, not district-level organizations", the unit was confused when adjusting information on land changes for people in 11 communes and towns of Loc Ha district merged into Thach Ha district.
In that situation, the Thach Ha District Land Registration Office has asked for opinions from competent authorities on whether to continue to adjust land change registration in land use right certificates for people or not.
"While we have not received any response from superiors, we have to temporarily stop going directly to the facility to process people's land change registration records," Mr. Hung shared.

According to Mr. Hung, in the past, after merging 11 communes and towns of Loc Ha district into Thach Ha district (eliminating Loc Ha district), on weekends, officers of the Thach Ha branch of the Land Registration Office had to go to the communes to directly handle land change records for people (mainly changing the land plot address and residential address of the land user due to the merger).
The need for people to register land changes is very high. With great efforts, thousands of records of people in Thach Kim commune and Loc Ha town have been processed.
According to the plan, the adjustment of land change registration in the land use right certificate for 11 communes and towns of the old Loc Ha district merged into Thach Ha district must be completed by March 2025.
However, now the Central Government has directed the development of a project not organized at the district level, so the Land Registration Office, Thach Ha district branch, must stop working at the land registration facility for people to wait for instructions from superiors.
