Mr. Mai Van Di - Chairman of Thach Trung Ward People's Committee - said that since noon on February 24, he has seen Ha Tinh City People's Committee repair and fix traffic light errors at the intersection between Le Ninh Street and Ha Hoang Street.
Previously, on the morning of February 24, Lao Dong Newspaper reported a traffic light signal error at the above location when traveling from Ha Tinh City to Thach Ha Town.
This cluster of lights is in a state of "power outage" without any signal and suddenly turns red, yellow or blue. The timestamp (second) is sometimes there, sometimes not, sometimes only 3 - 4 seconds and then lost.
The incident left many drivers confused, not knowing whether to go or stop. Many people have to "go" or wait for vehicles going in the opposite direction to move and the Ha Hoang road stops before daring to travel.
According to the driver's reflection, the traffic light signal error here occurred since the afternoon of February 23, causing quite a messy traffic, posing a potential risk of insecurity and traffic accidents.
The leaders of Ha Tinh City People's Committee later received the information and said that they would direct and promptly fix this light signal error.
