On May 15, Mr. Le Dai Thang - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak) informed about the handling of works violating construction order in the area.
Accordingly, in recent times, there have been many cases of illegal construction in the area.
On Phung Hung Street (Ea Tam Ward), 4 violating constructions were discovered, mainly on rice fields. The People's Committee of the ward has prepared a penalty file and is enforcing these works.
Similarly, Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Tu An Ward) recorded 24 illegal construction works, mainly warehouses and business works.
Although it has been fined since 2023, many works still exist.
The main violations are using land for the wrong purpose, such as building business counters and renovating the premises.
In addition, Ea Tu commune also fined 6 cases of construction violations.
For works under residential land planning, the commune has instructed the preparation of dossiers for changing land use purposes.
For works that are not in accordance with the planning, the People's Committee of the commune is continuing to propagate and urge violators to voluntarily dismantle them.
Mr. Le Dai Thang added that the city has requested communes and wards to seriously implement the penalty decisions. If they do not comply, enforcement will be organized.
The Chairman of the People's Committees of communes and wards will also be responsible if violations occur in the area.
