On September 12, the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command coordinated with Tra Vinh University to open a Khmer language training class for 50 officers and professional soldiers in the provincial armed forces.
The class took place over 8 weeks, students were trained in 3 areas: Identifying handwriting, speaking words; communication and military terminology. During the learning process, students continue to research and study gradually to master, aiming to communicate directly in the Khmer language in their later learning and working activities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Le Quang Luat, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command, emphasized: The fostering of the Khmer language aims to improve Khmer language and methods, skills, and experience in propagating and mobilizing people in ethnic minority areas for officers and professional soldiers working in the area with a large number of ethnic minorities, regularly interacting and working directly, contributing to the effective implementation of local military and defense work; National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority areas.
This is one of the important contents identified in the Project "The Army participates in propaganda and mobilization of ethnic minorities to actively fight to defeat the plot and tricks of dividing the great national unity bloc in the new situation".
To ensure updated basic knowledge of Khmer language and language, Colonel Le Quang Luat recommends that each student actively research, listen, and take notes as a basis for review, discussion, testing, and testing, as well as applying them in practice during work. The learning process must strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee, strictly comply with State laws, military discipline, regulations of the unit, ensure absolute safety in learning and safety when participating in traffic.
