On December 30, the 10th Ca Mau Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, opened the 7th Session (specialized session) to summarize and evaluate the results of activities for the term 2021-2026.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Ho Hai - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Thieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Thanh Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; along with leaders of the Boards of the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, agencies, and sectors.
In the past term, the Ca Mau Provincial People's Council has held 54 sessions, issued 680 resolutions, including 325 legal normative resolutions and 445 separate resolutions.
Supervision activities are strengthened, focusing on key areas, thereby clarifying the responsibilities of agencies, units and heads, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in localities.
The activities of the Provincial People's Committee have changed positively; the direction and administration work is increasingly practical. The economy continues to develop, the economic structure is shifting in the right direction; per capita income has been increased; investment attraction has achieved positive results; infrastructure has been invested relatively synchronously. The fields of culture - society, social security have made much progress; administrative reform has achieved important results; national defense and security have been maintained and strengthened.
At the meeting, delegates passed 7 resolutions such as: adjusting information on projects assigned to the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and the 2025 public investment plan; supplementing the list and arranging the 2026 public investment plan; stipulating preferential regimes for land rent exemption by region and field for projects using land for production and business purposes in the investment incentive field; supporting officials and employees at specialized education schools, public and non-public social assistance facilities; stipulating prices for medical examination and treatment services paid by the health insurance fund...
Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council unanimously dismissed Mr. Nguyen Minh Phung - former Chief Inspector of the province - from the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026 - due to being transferred to another job; and at the same time trusted and elected Mr. Hoang Phuong Thao - Provincial Party Committee Member, Chief Inspector of the province - to hold the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026.
