On December 30, Ca Mau province held a ceremony to announce the establishment of the Ca Mau Provincial Party History Museum at: No. 1, Nguyen Tan Thanh, Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province. This location was previously the headquarters of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee before the province was merged.
Attending the ceremony to announce the establishment of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee History Museum were Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province Lu Van Hung, leaders and former leaders of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces before the merger.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang emphasized: The museum will be a place to preserve, conserve and display systematically documents, artifacts, and images reflecting the formation, development and revolutionary struggle of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province through historical periods.
Not only stopping at displaying artifacts, museums are also an important cultural and educational institution, contributing to propagating and educating revolutionary traditions, fostering revolutionary ideals of patriotism, self-reliance, solidarity and aspiration to rise up for cadres, party members, armed forces and people from all walks of life, especially the young generation.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant units to urgently survey, review, and assess the current status of the project in a serious and scientific manner; advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to develop plans to renovate and adjust functions, ensuring the requirements for display, storage, and preservation of artifacts.
At the same time, continue to collect and supplement documents and artifacts, especially original artifacts associated with typical events and figures of the Party Committee, army and people of the province through various periods, ensuring authenticity and science; associated with historical factors.

In addition, promote digital transformation, develop digital museums, electronic information portals, apply modern technology to serve research, learning and remote touring and strengthen coordination with schools, armed forces units, mass organizations, making historical sightseeing and learning activities a regular and practical content and will also be a tourist destination contributing to tourism development for the province.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee requested leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with Bac Lieu Ward People's Committee to do a good job of protecting and ensuring the safety of items and artifacts in the Museum and security and order in the campus and area around the museum, especially in the investment preparation and implementation of investment projects, renovation and conversion of museum functions, when approved by competent authorities.
