On September 2nd, many people began to return to Ho Chi Minh City after the holidays. Traffic on gateway routes is forecast to increase, especially in the afternoon and evening when people finish their holidays and return to the city.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, during the September 2nd National Day holiday, the traffic volume in the city may increase sharply, especially at gateway routes, bus stations, train stations, airports and entertainment venues.

To limit congestion, functional forces have developed traffic diversion plans, guiding people to choose alternative routes in areas at risk of congestion. People returning to the city are advised to calculate reasonable travel time, avoiding congested vehicles on the evening of the last day of the holiday.
