On September 1st, the 4th day of the National Day holiday September 2nd, the number of vehicles circulating on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway increased in some areas, especially in the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City. However, traffic on the route remained stable, and no prolonged congestion was recorded.
Recorded on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City, towards the expressway access road and Ring Road 2 intersection has a fairly large number of vehicles. Traffic density has increased but prolonged congestion has not appeared.


Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to the expressway, the number of vehicles is less. Vehicles move quite conveniently, the distance between vehicles is relatively wide and there is no congestion.



In the area of the expressway and Ring Road 2 intersection, vehicles entering the lane are relatively convenient, there is no situation of long queues or having to stop to wait for a long time.
Previously, in the early days of the holidays, the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway recorded a high increase in the number of vehicles in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai and central provinces. Some sections have experienced slow traffic due to strong traffic growth.
By September 1, a part of the population began to return to Ho Chi Minh City early, causing the number of vehicles heading towards the city to increase. However, due to vehicles returning sporadically, traffic on the route is still relatively stable.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway is an important traffic route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai and provinces in the Southeast and South Central regions. During holidays, the route often faces great pressure when travel demand increases.
Vehicle drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance, comply with speed, not arbitrarily change lanes or enter emergency stop lanes; and proactively monitor traffic conditions to choose the appropriate time and route.
