Yen Bai - Van Phu Bridge temporarily prohibits all vehicles for repairs.

On the afternoon of October 31, the Department of Transport of Yen Bai province announced a traffic diversion plan for Van Phu bridge located on Au Co street, Yen Bai city.

Accordingly, traffic diversion will start from 0:00 on November 1 to December 29 to serve the repair of Van Phu bridge.

During the time the bridge construction units will prohibit people and vehicles from passing through to repair the roadbed and road surface and to inspect and maintain the bridge piers affected by floods.

According to Director of the Department of Transport of Yen Bai province Tran Viet Dung, immediately after issuing the document, the unit installed signs to guide traffic flow for people and vehicles at the intersection on both sides of the bridge.

Vehicles and people traveling to the intersection of Van Phu bridge head go onto Yen Bai-Van Tien road to the intersection with the three-bridge connecting road, turn left onto the three-bridge connecting road to the intersection of Gioi Phien bridge head, turn left across Gioi Phien bridge, go onto National Highway 32C or the road connecting National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway to Au Co road and vice versa.

Van Phu Bridge started construction in 2002 and was completed in 2004. The bridge has a total length of 474.96m; a total width of 10m; a permanent bridge made of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete; and a total investment of 50 billion VND.
