Yen Bai Bridge temporarily closes all vehicles for safety checks after floods.

On the afternoon of October 3, the Department of Transport of Yen Bai province issued an official dispatch on ensuring the safety of the Yen Bai bridge project.

Accordingly, due to the influence of storm circulation No. 3 (Yagi) causing prolonged heavy rain, combined with floods in the upstream, the Thao River water level rose near the steel truss system.

At around 8:00 a.m. on September 10, a sand suction ship drifting freely from the upstream of Thao River crashed into the Yen Bai bridge's pillars and girders, affecting the quality and safety of the project and its structural and connection systems.
