This project will be implemented from the end of 2024. The winning bidder and construction enterprise is Tu Lap Construction Company Limited, with the construction package value of more than 37 billion VND (won price).
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in early March, after more than 2 months of construction, the contractor has demolished the main stand (adjacent to the Town Party Committee's traffic island), the remaining stands along with the yard and pitch have also been dug up with old concrete, weeds, soil and rocks... and the new soil layer has been filled.
It can be seen that the construction contractor has mobilized many human resources, large machinery and equipment as well as many raw materials to construct this project.
According to records, to have space for construction, Phu Tho town has banned all vehicles from entering and exiting Sa Dec street - the street running along the stadium, adjacent to the headquarters of the Town Party Committee and Sa Dec Secondary School.
Previously, according to the reporter's investigation, implementing the Decision of the Chairman of Phu Tho Town People's Committee on approving the project investment policy, the decision approving the construction design drawings and the project estimate, and at the same time to ensure traffic safety during the construction process, the Town People's Committee issued a notice prohibiting vehicles from crossing the above road, starting from February 6 and expected until June 2025.
According to the representative of the Phu Tho Town Construction Project Management Board, the construction progress of the Phu Tho Town Stadium Renovation and Upgrade Project has reached about 20% (the implementation period is 360 days).
According to the design, the project will upgrade the category of a covered grandstand with 3 floors and an athlete's house with 2 floors with 1 attic; the grandstand area will be renovated and the seating steps will be adjusted to meet standards; the soccer field will be expanded to a standard size of 65x100 m; the entire field surface will be stripped to rebuild the surrounding drainage system, natural grass carpet and pitch running track...
The 5-seat gate system will be renovated, with gates 6 and 7 added; technical infrastructure such as electrical cabinets, lighting, communication systems, internet, cameras, air conditioners will be invested in new, synchronous and modern...
The renovation and construction of Phu Tho town stadium will develop a sports facility at the level of a rapidly developing city.
