After the merger, Phu Yen province has 971 cadres working from underwater to Dak Lak plateau.
Of which, there are 876 department-level leaders and specialists; 95 cadres with positions from Deputy Director and above, who are eligible for housing allocation according to regulations.
After the ceremony to announce the establishment of the new province, the affiliated agencies and units will officially come into operation.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Cao Hong Nguyen (officer of the Tourism Management Department, under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) of Dak Lak province shared: "I am from Tuy Hoa ward and work in Buon Ma Thuot ward.
This year, I am 42 years old and still have many years of work. Therefore, I decided that I had to go far to become more mature, accumulate experience and complete the assigned tasks well."

According to Mr. Nguyen, accommodation for cadres and civil servants from Phu Yen to Dak Lak is arranged methodically, airy, clean and still ensures the necessary privacy.
Similarly, Mr. Dinh Tan Luc (40 years old, specialist of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Office) has just temporarily left his wife and two young children in Tuy Hoa ward to go to Buon Ma Thuot ward to work. The distance he traveled by personal vehicle was nearly 200km.
Mr. Luc shared: "I feel that the climate in the Buon Ma Thuot plateau is very pleasant, and the people are friendly. Although I was still confused when I arrived at my new job, I was not afraid of difficulties or hardship.
I will try to integrate quickly into the environment, catch up with the work to complete the assigned tasks well".

The Department of Construction of Dak Lak province has coordinated with the Department of Finance, the Department of Home Affairs and related units to temporarily arrange accommodation for 698 cadres, civil servants and public employees of Phu Yen province to work at the new Administrative Center.
Of these, 96 people are under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; the remaining 602 people are department-level civil servants and specialists.
According to the temporary plan, 16 Provincial Party Committee members of Phu Yen province - including directors of departments, chief of staff, heads of departments and equivalent positions - will be arranged to live and work at the Provincial Political School.
On June 30, Mr. Phan Thang An - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Resolution and Decision of the Central Government related to the merger of provinces, communes and wards of the two provinces of Dak Lak and Phu Yen.
Accordingly, the new Dak Lak province has an area of over 1,809km2, a population of over 3.3 million people and includes 102 administrative units at the commune level.
