On June 29, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel of Hue City Police announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of the commune-level police. Of which, 21 ward police and 19 commune police of Hue city were established.
At the same time, the decision of the Hue City Police Director was announced to more than 200 Comrade Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of Commune-level Police.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police emphasized that the city's police force, especially the commune-level police, proactively adapts and is flexible in all aspects of work, contributing to ensuring a safe and secure environment for local economic and social development.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Commune-level Police must change their thinking and working methods. In the coming period, they need to improve their capacity to operate effectively, truly becoming a "stable fortress", a "steel shield" in the front line to ensure security and order at the grassroots level.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan requested the new commune-level police chief and deputy chief to proactively grasp the local situation of arising and complicated cases of security and order to advise on handling them in conjunction with urgent implementation, ensuring progress and assigned work targets.
More importantly and doing a good job of consulting to promote the combined strength of the entire political system and society in crime prevention and control, closely combining social prevention and professional prevention, limiting the causes and conditions for crime arising right at the grassroots level; proactively arranging forces and conditions to ensure the implementation of public services; ensuring continuous implementation of tasks, without interruption or interruption.
