From September 9 to September 19, the Command (BTL) of Coast Guard Region 4 organized a synthesis round tactical drill; training and testing live ammunition and fireworks at sea in 2025.
This is an important task to improve the level of command organization and combat coordination of agencies and units; check the level of exploitation and use of weapons, technical equipment, bravery and mobility of soldiers in direct bullet fire.
Colonel Phan Duy Cuong, Deputy Military Commander of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, directly directed the drill on the field. Participating in the drill and live-fire were ships and boats of the squadron and squadron; representatives of the authorities of the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Command of Coast Guard Region 4.
The content of the general round of exercises was organized at the Squadron level, with the form of Army-level confrontation including 3 stages connected by orders and combat announcements. In particular, phase 3, the practice of combat combat includes combat situations that are gradually increased according to the requirements and intentions of the Exercise Steering Committee.
Regarding the live bullet firing, the ships and each officer and soldier had a firm grasp of the safety regulations, features, tactical techniques of all types of ammunition, and the process of performing each firing exercise; calm, confident, completing the fireworks well, ensuring absolute safety.
After finishing the task, the Command of the Region organized a closely-versed training course at all levels. At the Conference on drawing experience at the Command level of the Region on September 19, Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, acknowledged and praised the results achieved in the strategy of the synthesis round and live-fire at sea in 2025. Requesting agencies and units to continue to grasp the above directives, regulations and instructions on training and combat readiness tasks; deeply study and clarify the content of the resistance drill with situations close to the reality of the task of protecting sovereignty, security and safety of islands in the new situation. Actively and proactively deploy comprehensive and synchronous measures to improve training quality.
The tactical drill and live-fire at sea in 2025 of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command has successfully completed the set content and plan, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects, contributing to improving the overall strength, level, and combat readiness of the unit, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks.
