At around 9:00 a.m. on March 28, after receiving a report from the Office of the Nam Can District Party Committee, about a house fire in Hamlet 1, Nam Can town, which is at risk of spreading, directly threatening the lives and property of surrounding households.
Squadron 42 (Coast Guard Region 4 Command) quickly mobilized 20 officers, soldiers, vehicles and fire fighting equipment to be present at the scene to coordinate with police forces, border guards, district teams and local people to urgently put out the fire, not allowing the fire to spread.
At around 9:30 a.m. the same day, thanks to effective fire extinguishing plans, the authorities controlled the fire; continued to deploy measures to guard, monitor and support people to overcome the consequences of the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities. Initial damage included 2 houses completely burned down, 3 houses were affected. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
