On the afternoon of June 2nd, heavy rain occurred in the northern area of Ho Chi Minh City. Prolonged heavy rain caused many low-lying areas with poor drainage to be flooded.
Recorded on National Highway 13, the section intersecting with the Ring Road 3 project of Ho Chi Minh City (bordering Thuan Giao and Phu Loi wards) was locally flooded. Water from high points poured in and could not drain in time and overflowed onto National Highway 13.
The road surface was flooded about 20-40 cm. The flood caused motorbikes to move close to the median strip to pass. Some vehicles stalled and had to be led on foot.
The incident seriously affected vehicles traveling in the direction from Thuan Giao ward to Phu Loi ward. Cars and motorbikes moved slowly right before the intersection with the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to records, this is a key road in the North of Ho Chi Minh City, traffic congestion stretches from VSIP I industrial park to the intersection with Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City. Cars line up in a row, moving little by little.
Traffic on National Highway 13 at intersections with Thu Khoa Huan street, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, Ho Van Men street is seriously congested.
By 6 pm on the same day, the rain stopped, and the water receded. Traffic through the area began to become clearer.
