On the afternoon of October 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Lam Dong Provincial Police continued to search for a man suspected of missing in the Ca Ty River in Binh Thuan Ward.
According to initial information, on the morning of the same day, people discovered some items and letters believed to belong to someone left on Ca Ty bridge. Suspecting that someone was missing in the river, the people reported the incident to the ward police.
From the information left in the letter, the authorities contacted relatives at the scene.
Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and specialized vehicles arrived at the scene to search. As noon approached, the river water rose and flowed rapidly, making the search difficult.
Rescue police were wearing life jackets and swimming along the shore to search. The authorities also used canoes running on the river to expand the search area.
As of 5:00 p.m. the same day, the rescue team had not yet found the missing suspect.
