According to the Traffic Police Department - Cao Bang Provincial Police, due to prolonged heavy rain, many roads in the area have experienced serious landslides and flooding, causing traffic congestion at many points.
In Hoa An commune, Provincial Road 216 recorded more than 20 landslides on the gentle slope (from Km2+250 to Km17+800), with soil and rocks covering from 3⁄4 to the entire road surface, many locations were completely blocked, vehicles could not circulate.
Provincial Road 204 also suffered landslides at Km0+300, Km4+550, Km8+400, Km15+400, occupying about 3⁄4 of the road surface; vehicles passing through must be very careful.


In Bao Lac commune, Km137 National Highway 34 experienced a large landslide, the road management unit is mobilizing machinery to fix and clear the route.
In Trung Khanh area, Km18+200 Provincial Road 208 (to Ha Lang), landslides on the embankment, the only road, has been placed with warning signs, people should absolutely not move through.


Truong Ha commune: Xuan Hoa - Ma Quynh - Thong Nong route is completely blocked due to landslides, currently the authorities are leveling and clearing the road.
Nguyen Binh commune area: National Highway 34 has many sections flooded and landslides; at Km37+150 National Highway 34B, the route has been temporarily opened to traffic by car.

In Bao Lam commune, the area of Km83+300 National Highway 34 was deeply flooded, vehicles could not move. Some small landslides on National Highway 34 and National Highway 4C have been repaired, temporarily stabilizing traffic.
National Highway 4A Km66+500 is deeply flooded, unable to circulate; in Cao Xuyen area (QL3), the water rose about 50cm from the road surface and continued to rise.
Currently, the Traffic Police force is on duty at 100% of the time, coordinating with road management units to regulate, warn of dangers and support people.
The provincial police recommend that people do not try to cross landslides and deep flooding areas, follow instructions and warning signs to ensure safety of life.
