Phu Tho voters propose that the Ministry of Construction implement the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project.
Currently, the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project is under phase 1 construction, in Cao Son commune there is a design of 01 intersection connecting to the commune's territory, but it has not been constructed in this phase.
To create motivation and opportunities for socio-economic development for the commune, it is proposed to soon implement the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway intersection project in Cao Son commune in phase 1 of the project.
After studying, the Ministry of Construction would like to answer as follows:
The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project section passing through Phu Tho province (Km19 - Km53) is managed by the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee as the managing agency, and is being implemented with a 2-lane phased scale.
Within the project scope, it is expected to arrange 04 intersections, of which IC3 intersection (about Km28+269) connecting to DT. 433B road through Cao Son commune is planned as an interconnected stereoscopic intersection, in the immediate future building a civil tunnel to serve people's travel needs.
According to the road network plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg dated September 1, 2021, the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau road is planned with a scale of 4 lanes, with an investment progress before 2030.
Currently, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province is submitting to the Prime Minister for permission to expand the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway (section from Km19 - Km53 in Phu Tho province) from a 2-lane scale to a 4-lane completion phase scale.
In which, the province has completed the IC3 intersection (about Km28+269) connecting to DT. 433B road through Cao Son commune, the implementation time is in the period 2026 - 2029.
The Ministry of Construction agreed on the policy and will closely coordinate with the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee and relevant ministries and sectors to promote the project to be invested in a complete 4-lane scale according to the plan soon.
