According to Lao Dong's records, from the evening of the 4th day of Tet, streams of cars, containers and passenger cars lined up in a long line on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway towards the city center. Towards the end of the day, the number of vehicles pouring in increased, causing the speed of movement on the expressway to be quite slow, but there was no prolonged congestion.

In contrast to the serious traffic jams in previous Tet seasons, traffic at An Phu intersection (connecting Mai Chi Tho, Dong Van Cong and expressway points) this year is relatively stable.

The "key" to this ventilation is the two new underpasses at the intersection that have shown clear traffic diversion efficiency. Cars traveling from Mai Chi Tho street to the expressway now move smoothly through the tunnel, no longer having to stop to wait for traffic lights or conflict with left and right turns as before.
Mr. Tran Hoang Lam (resident of Binh Thanh district) excitedly shared: "Every year, going through An Phu on Tet, I definitely feel like there is a traffic jam for an hour. This year, the car runs continuously, smoothly, really surprisingly and comfortable.

The effective separation of traffic flow through the underpass not only helps the main axis to be smooth but also significantly reduces pressure on the surrounding branches. The coordination between modern infrastructure and people actively returning to the city early has helped the eastern gateway have a rather "breathless" 4th day of Tet.
